| Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- One of the DPRK's Olympic gold medalists is Ri Hak Son, who won the 52kg freestyle wrestling title of the 25th Olympic Games in Juche 81 (1992). He beat his U.S. rival 8:1 in the finals to take the first place. At that time, AP reported that the U.S. wrestler recognized Ri Hak Son's excellent technique, saying Ri was superior than him. Ri also won gold medals at the 5th and 8th Asian free-style wrestling championships and other international tournaments and bagged a silver medal at the World Free-style Wrestling Championship in 1989.
