The organization issued a statement on October 16.

The statement said that the Korean people who celebrated the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) with splendor started the 80-day campaign with faith and optimism to bring about a great change.

It noted that the members of the WPK and other people are building modern villages by dynamically accelerating the reconstruction work in the indomitable spirit despite the worldwide spread of COVID-19 and a series of natural disasters.

It said that the recent changes made in the DPRK have startled the world.

It extended firm solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle.

It stressed that the 80-day campaign would end in victory and the 8th Congress of the WPK be brilliantly adorned as the one of glory as Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un leads the Korean revolution.
