Sunrise on Mt Paektu

| Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The sunrise on Mt Paektu is the best scene of the ancestral mountain, the most famous mountain of Korea. It is the ultimate in spectacular sight and glittering sunshine. The sunrise there gives different feelings and presents ever-changing spectacular sights according to season, weather and viewpoint. At dawn in October Juche 87 (1998), Chairman Kim Jong Il went up Mt Paektu and said, enjoying the sunrise, that the revolutionary cause of Juche started in this mountain as the morning of Korea comes from it. Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said that he loves the sunrise on Mt Paektu and that our faith should be red and intense like the sunrise to follow the distant and thorny road of revolution to the end. The sunrise tops the eight famous scenes on Mt Paektu. |
