The factory produces T-shirts bearing the national flag, sportswear, sweaters, underwear and other kinds of clothes.

It recently introduced a method of simultaneously dyeing mixture of cotton and tetoron to cut down the hour of dyeing while improving the quality of knitting and increase the production nearly twice.

It also newly established a process for producing artificial fur cloth needed in making shoes, padded clothes, gloves, blankets and other consumer goods with its own technology. The artificial fur cloth produced at the factory is very high in qualitative indices like abrasive hardness, elongation and heat-preservation.

The factory has regarded it as the main line for its management to develop new products and improve the quality of goods. As a result, its knitwear products won a high appraisal at many domestic exhibitions held in recent years.

The factory was established in October Juche 52 (1963). President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il visited it several times to indicate the orientation and ways for improving the quality of knitwear, increasing their varieties and normalizing the production.
