Autumn Scenery of Moran Hill
Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- Autumn scenery of Moran Hill in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, is now drawing the attention of people.

From olden times, the hill on the bank of the Taedong River has been called "Moran" as it visualizes peony in bloom.

Its autumn scenery is characterized by clear and fresh air, sound of flowing water, birds' twittering and historical relics surrounded by forests dyed with orange color and tress covered with fruits.

Painters are seen depicting such fantastic scenes by streams, ponds and falls of the hill.

In the hill there are nearly 200 species of plants, including pine, pine-nut tree, acacia, peach tree, apricot tree, pear tree, chestnut tree, azalea, magnolia and rose, and animals, including squirrel and over 70 kinds of birds.
