Premier Kim Tok Hun Inspects Several Sectors of National Economy
Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected several sectors of the national economy.

Touring co-op farms in Paechon, Yonan and Chongdan counties of South Hwanghae Province seething with the 80-day campaign, Kim Tok Hun encouraged the agricultural workers who are making patriotic devotion to successfully harvest grain cultivated by them despite natural disasters.

Learning in detail about threshing at farms, he stressed the need to keep threshing machines in full-capacity operation to finish the threshing in time, secure more source of manure and plow the fields at the right time and in a qualitative way.

The field consultative meetings discussed the issues arising in improving the living standard of farmers and enhancing the proportion of mechanization of the farming work while successfully concluding this year's farming and making steady preparations for next year's farming.

Making a field survey of the production at the Chollima Steel Complex, the premier called on officials and technicians to introduce rational working methods which would enable to reduce the time of a heat in UHP electric arc furnace and increase the production of molten iron per charge so as to propel the campaign for increased production.

Meanwhile, he went round the Yonbaek Salt Works and acquainted himself with the production at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and the updating of the Kumsong Tractor Factory.
