Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a gift from the general secretary of the Communist Party of the DR Congo and floral baskets from the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the president of the State of Palestine, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and political parties and organizations of different countries including Cuba, DR Congo, Zimbabwe, Sweden and Japan, international bodies and foreign personages on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Placed at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill were floral baskets sent by the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Communist Parties-the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Switzerland-Korea Committee, the Finland-Korea Society, the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany, families of Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the president of the International Group of Italy and others.

The co-chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, the director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, the national leader of the Workers' Party of Mexico, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico and the minister of communication and technology of Syria sent floral baskets to the DPRK missions in their countries.

Personages of different countries paid congratulatory visit to the DPRK missions in their countries, laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and art works depicting the peerlessly great men standing together and bowed to them.

Kim Jong Un received congratulatory messages and letters from party leaders, heads of state and senior personages of political and public circles of different countries including China, Russia, Cuba, Nepal, Mongolia, Laos, Syria, Vietnam, Demark, UK, Italy, Nigeria, Mali, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Venezuela, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil on the occasion of the holiday of October.

Statements and articles were issued by political parties, organizations and personages of different countries including the Political Executive Committee of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party (Romania), the vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and the chairman of the Congolese Association for Friendship among Peoples.

Celebrations took place in different countries to mark the anniversary.

In Jakarta, Indonesia, an internet website was opened for the successful holding of international online seminar on the DPRK winning victories with the spirit of independence and over 110 speeches, poems and songs sent by personages of different public circles in over 60 countries were posted on it.

Colorful political and cultural functions took place worldwide, including national and joint seminars in Mongolia, Bangladesh, Uganda, DR Congo and Brazil and a seminar on the Juche idea, independence and peace in Japan.

A number of foreign mass media carried special write-ups illustrated with the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un before or after October 10.
