In each period and stage of the developing revolution, our Party's media have served as a good educator, courageous propagandist and loyal mouthpiece in putting into reality the idea and leadership of the Party and have played a vanguard role in the development course of Juche Korea adorned with brilliant miracles and renovations.

When the mass media were taking the lead in collapsing the party and the system to revive capitalism in some countries building socialism in the 1990s, in particular, it was only our Party's media that had devotedly defended the Party, the leader and the revolution and demonstrated the might of the red flag spirit, the red flag philosophy all over the world.

Our Party's media have performed extraordinary feats in powerfully accelerating the socialist construction and vigorously leading the cause of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism without any slightest inconstancy or irresolution in the tempests of history. This is a great dignity and pride of our Party's media.

The importance and significance of mass media are getting more notable as the days go by with the steady advance of the times and the revolution.

All the press men should make a positive contribution to achieving the victory in the on-going 80-day campaign by firing an opening salvo of an ideological campaign and making the fire focused, steady and accurate, bearing in mind their mission and duty as the ideological standard bearer of our Party and the bugler of advance.
