Koreans in Japan Protest Japanese Court's Unreasonable Judgment
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Students of the Fukuoka Korean School and the Kyusu Korean Middle and High School in Japan, their parents and other Koreans and citizens in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Aichi, Hyogo and Yamaguchi protested the judgment made by the Fukuoka High Court in pursuance to the Japanese regime's policy of discrimination against Korean schools on Oct. 30.

That day the court turned down the suit filed by the graduates of the above-said Korean schools against the Japanese regime for excluding Korean high schools from tuition-free program for senior high schools.

Angered by the discriminative and unjust judgment, the graduates called a press conference.

They termed the exclusion of Korean schools from tuition-free program for senior high schools an extremely illegal act against the Korean students in Japan.

At the end of the press conference, they held a rally.

Koreans and Japanese citizens in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Aichi, Hyogo and Yamaguchi joined them.

Speakers there expressed their will to carry on the struggle until the regime lift the policy of discrimination against Korean students.

That day, the Fukuoka Korean School and the Fukuoka Liaison Council for Application of Tuition-free Program to Korean Schools released statements in protest against the court's judgment.
