When inspecting South Hamgyong Province under disaster recovery campaign in October, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un gave an instruction on studying and introducing the way of paving roads in residential districts with earth hardening agent.

True to his instruction, servicepersons in charge of the reconstruction of disaster-affected Komdok area in South Hamgyong Province, together with scientists, have made earth hardening agent with locally available raw materials to pave the roads in residential districts. Its technical indexes like frost resistance are of high level.

The technique of paving road with earth hardening agents has already been introduced into rural road construction in South Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces.
