From the moment of the outbreak of COVID-19 abroad, the institute has steadily conducted the study of it after dispatching inspection teams to every area of the country.

The inspection teams have intensified the epidemiological observation on animals while collecting specimen from all dead animals and insects to verify the cause of their death through scientific examination.

They are now paying a greater effort to the epidemiological observation and study of wild animals such as bats.
