Growing at the house are more than 800 species of plants presented to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il as gifts by party and state leaders from tens of countries and prominent personages of different strata and overseas compatriots throughout the world.

It has five greenhouses including Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia greenhouses and 20 hectares of open-air plant field.

The greenhouses have spread 100-odd species of plants across the country every year. Among them are Peperomia obutusifolia, Ficusrubiginosa, Rhododendron indicum, Camellia japonica, Hypocyrta glabra, and Cryptanthus zonatus cv. Tricolor.
