Beautiful traits were displayed during the campaign for eradicating the aftermath of natural disasters in different parts of the country.

Many people went to the recovery campaign sites, deeming state affairs more important than their family affairs. They waged a campaign to produce materials needed for reconstruction and prepared aid materials.

A woman volunteered to take part in reconstruction after sending her young child to her parents' house and an old Party member brought all his family members to an area hit by natural disasters to join the recovery campaign.

There is also a disabled soldier who sent a red flag to the reconstruction site in token of his will to live as a member of the divisions of Party members from the capital city of Pyongyang working in the site, although he is not there.

All the Korean people have shared joy and sorrow in the feelings of comradeship and kinship and created a beautiful life with love and care. This is the true picture of the Korean society, which capitalism can neither imitate nor possess.

Such way of life, characterized by sincere assistance to people in difficulties and sharing of sweets and bitters with them, is not an ancestral custom and manner.

It is thanks to the great leader who always shares joy and sorrow with the people, believing in them as in Heaven. Under his care, the Korean people get firmly united in the same intention and feelings and the single-minded unity of the Korean society grows stronger.

Such national trait and the life of the large harmonious family will last forever.
