Agricultural workers in Pyongyang City who turned out in the campaign to successfully wrap up this year's farming concluded the harvest and threshing earlier than others.

Agricultural workers in North Phyongan Province also finished the harvest and threshing by waging a socialist emulation to become the honorable victors in the 80-day campaign. Farms in South Phyongan Province overfulfilled their daily plans by more than 120 percent by rationally deploying manpower and vehicles and keeping the mobile rice threshers and other farm machines in full-capacity operation.

Agricultural workers in South and North Hwanghae Provinces also worked hard to conclude this year's farming successfully despite the unprecedentedly terrible natural disasters that battered the country.

Officials and workers in the agricultural field across the country are stepping up the preparations for next year's farming in the spirit of having rounded off the harvest and threshing successfully in time.
