In accordance with the thematic and ideological contents of the building which depicts the bosom of the Workers' Party of Korea, the palace has all conditions and environments needed for education and edification on the highest level, including the rooms for computer, physics, calligraphy, kayagum and other hobby groups, theatre, indoor stadium and swimming pool.

It is associated with the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who has translated the great leaders' noble outlook on posterity into reality.

Looking round the palace in May Juche 103 (2014), the Supreme Leader set forth the task for remodeling it as required by the new century. And he took detailed measures for its reconstruction, saying it is the firm determination of the Party to let sons and daughters of the working people give full play to their talents.

Visiting the remodeled palace in November 2015, he said that the palace perfectly embodied the requirements of the Juche-oriented thought on architectural beauty in terms of form and content and it is a palace for children without an equal in the world showing the WPK's outlook on posterity. And he gave precious teachings that would serve as important guidelines in operating the palace.

As seen above, the appearance of the palace could undergo a radical change thanks to the solicitude of the Supreme Leader to convey the warm love of the great leaders who spared nothing for the posterity.
