Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Socialist fairyland villages have appeared in Komdok area of South Hamgyong Province, promising the bright future of the mining city. Komdok area was under muddy water and stones due to the natural disaster, and the aftermath of the disaster was so severe that houses there couldn't be recognized even by their owners. Now, modern houses are everywhere to present spectacular scenery. Single-, low- and multi-storeyed dwelling houses for 2,300 households, public buildings and parks have been successfully built to turn misfortune into blessings in the area. The big change in the area is the bright fruition brought about by the passionate loving care and dedication made by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for our workers, the eldest son of the country, and valuable achievements produced by the fighting spirit and stamina of the People's Army clearing the worries of our Party and pain of our people with loyal and patriotic devotion. After the meetings for moving to new houses in the mining villages, people began to move to new houses which have been beautifully built in the damaged area. Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Kim Pong Yong, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, Kim Yong Hak, vice-chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned and commanding officers of the units which participated in the construction visited the families that moved to the new houses to congratulate them. The working people who became the owners of the new fairyland village thanked Kim Jong Un in tears for his love deeper than the ocean. They vowed to glorify the 80-day campaign with increased extraction of minerals and greet the Eighth Congress of the WPK with pride, cherishing in their minds the benevolence of the mother Party that provided them with places for happy living. |
