DPRK Premier Inspects Various Industrial Establishments
Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- DPRK Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, inspected the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex, the Kwisong Salt Works and the Unha Salt Works.

Looking round the turbine shop, the heat producing shop and other production processes of the complex, he stressed the need to increase the electricity production by carrying out technical remodeling in a planned way.

Talking about the protection of urban ecological environment, he stressed the need to step up the technical updating of the dust-absorbing system of the complex to ensure a cleaner production environment.

At the Kwisong Salt Works and the Unha Salt Works, he acquainted himself with the progress made in the project for repairing the anti-tidal dykes. He also underscored the need to properly conduct operation and command over every process and qualitatively finish the projects by positively introducing advanced methods into the projects in close contact with science research institutions.

The field consultative meetings discussed the steps for giving full play to the existing generating capacity and urged the relevant units to timely supply equipment and materials needed for the project for repairing the anti-tidal dykes.

Meanwhile, the premier inspected the Woldo Tideland and learned about the progress made in the second-stage project for reclaiming the Honggondo Tideland.
