The completion of the reservoir makes it possible to irrigate thousands of hectares of reclaimed farmland in the Honggondo Tideland.

Service personnel of the People's Army and citizens in the province completed the large-scale project in less than one year through their cooperation.

A ceremony for its completion took place on Nov. 30.
