The chemical industrial sector including the February 8 Vinalon Complex produced polyvinyl chloride 1.4 times the planned and made innovation in the production of basic chemical goods.

The power industrial sector such as the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant, the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the Suphung Power Station scrupulously managed equipment and improved the technical control so as to operate equipment at full capacity.

The Ministry of Coal Industry topped its monthly plan. The Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex, the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex, the Tukjang Area Coal Mining Complex and other coal mining complexes have considerably increased the coal production after the start of the 80-day campaign.

The mining industrial sector topped the apatite concentrate production plan 120 percent, attaining the goals of the 80-day campaign on major indices.

Such achievements were also made in the railway transport and light industrial sectors. Many light industrial factories hit their targets of the 80-day campaign.
