This vast resort representing the nation's hot-spring culture was built in less than one year and inaugurated on December 7, Juche 108 (2019).

The hot spring in this area, rich in fluorine, sulfur and other utility components needed for the promotion of metabolism, has high pharmacological action and treatment efficacy. And it has no such pollutant as ammonium, nitrous acid and nitrogen ion and pathogenic microorganism.

In the resort, there are treatment and fitness districts, sports and cultural bases and public service facilities, including indoor and outdoor spas, skiing ground, horse-riding park and hotels.

The credit for the birth of this excellent resort goes to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, who initiated its development and energetically guided the successful construction of it. He visited it several times in 2018 and 2019, examining more than 2,000 miniatures for its construction.

A large number of people have spent enjoyable days there for the past one year.
