In the work, the Supreme Leader clarified that the socialist architecture of Juche is, in essence, the architecture based on the people-first principle and that in construction, top priority should be given to the desire, demands and convenience of the people and the ideological value, artistry and practicality should be thoroughly ensured in keeping with their emotion and aesthetic tastes. And he set forth the tasks and ways for shoring up the overall construction work of the country.

After the publication of the work, many monumental edifices embodying the Juche-based idea on architecture have taken their shapes across the country.

Among them are Ryomyong Street, Mirae Scientists Street, streets of Samjiyon City, Pyongyang Old People's Home, Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital, Sci-Tech Complex, Masikryong Ski Resort, Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, Yonphung Scientists Holiday Camp and Pyongyang Taedonggang Seafood Restaurant, which demonstrate the Juche character, national identity, originality and formative art in perfect harmony.

Besides, the large-scale Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm, model industrial establishments and large-scale hydro-power stations appeared one after another to significantly contribute to the country's economic development and the improvement of people's livelihood.
