At that time, the Chairman dealt a hard blow to such sophistry of the imperialists and the renegades of socialism through his energetic ideo-theoretical activities.

In his celebrated work "Abuses of Socialism Are Intolerable", he exposed the reactionary nature of the abuses of socialism and clarified the important matters arising in defending the essential advantages of Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses and the socialist cause.

He also made public the work "Socialism Is a Science" to logically prove the scientific accuracy and truthfulness of socialism and the inevitability of its victory.

In his another famous work "On the Fundamentals of Revolutionary Party Building", he gave clear-cut answers to the key questions of the revolutionary party building required by the era and the world socialist movement and guided numbers of progressive political parties in the world to contribute to the realization of the socialist cause by strengthening their unity and cooperation.

His work "Respecting the Forerunners of the Revolution Is a Noble Moral Obligation of Revolutionaries", too, created a great sensation among the international community as it shows the way for the revolutionaries to constantly inherit and develop the socialist movement with proper standpoint and attitude toward the forerunners. Only three months after the publication of this work, 210-odd media in the world reported about its full text or important contents and many politicians and progressive peoples of the world spoke highly of the work, saying it is an immortal library for construction of socialist morality with deep profundity and practical significance.

The feats of Chairman Kim Jong Il, who had defended and energetically guided the socialist cause, the human cause of independence through his distinguished ideo-theoretical activities and with noble moral obligation, will remain forever.
