Chairman Kim Jong Il Receives Many Gifts from Progressive Mankind
Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- Chairman Kim Jong Il has been presented with over 40,000 gifts from party and state leaders, organizations, political and public figures and other personages of different social standings in 170 countries and international bodies.

Every gift is closely associated with their ardent respect for and trust in Kim Jong Il.

Among the gifts is crystal craftwork showing the Tower of the Juche Idea, the one presented by the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI) in February, Juche 80 (1991) to praise the feats of Kim Jong Il who illuminated the way for the era of independence.

The president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil presented to Kim Jong Il with deep reverence the gem-cutting craftwork "Humming Bird" in October 2010.

The reverence for Kim Jong Il is given continuity by the peoples of the world, even after the Korean people suffered a great loss of the nation.

It can be witnessed by the fact that the number of gifts presented to the Chairman by the world progressives reaches over 110 pieces since his demise.

Vishwanath, former director-general of the IIJI, personally designed an exquisite gold necklace and asked a famous Indian craftsman to make it, which took several months for completion. And he presented the necklace to Kim Jong Il in April 2012.

A personage in Kuwait presented the craftwork "Steering Wheel" to Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The craftwork represents humble reverence praising the exploits of the Chairman who had steered the world politics by firmly taking the helm of the history.

The national chairman of the Better Nigeria Progressive Party sent the crystal craftwork "The Shining Star of Mt Paektu on Jong Il Peak" on the occasion of the 75th birthday of the Chairman.

The progressive mankind's boundless reverence and ardent yearning for Kim Jong Il grow stronger as the days go by.
