According to data available at the Quality Control Bureau, the December 15 Quality Medal was awarded to more than 10 products recently. They include Mindulle notebooks from the Mindulle Notebook Factory, Kaesong Koryo insam lotions from the Kumgangsan Joint Venture Company, lyophilized pollack from the Kalma Foodstuff Factory and fish sausage, fish ball and fish paste from the Hungnam Taegyong General Fishery Enterprise.

This medal was instituted on the instruction of Supreme Leader?Kim Jong Un?for improving the quality in production and construction.

It has been awarded to the world-famous quality domestic products and commodities with a competitive edge every year from Juche 103 (2014).
