Attending the meeting were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Pak Ku Ho, its first vice-chairman, and others.

He said that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a congratulatory message to the Conference of Representatives of Branches of Chongryon.

He put emphasis on the important issues arising in embodying the idea of Kim Jong Un's congratulatory message in the work of Chongryon by holding fast to it as an invincible treasured sword and making the whole of Chongryon, all its officials and hard-core masses immediately turn out with resolve in implementing the tasks set forth in the congratulatory message for consolidating the branches of Chongryon.

He called for setting the year 2021 as "the one for consolidating the branches of Chongryon" and making the year the first year of the struggle in which the whole association will turn out in fully implementing Kim Jong Un's idea of attaching importance to the branches.

Speakers at the meeting vowed to unite as one and develop the branches of Chongryon into patriotic ones, bearing in mind the idea and intention carried in the congratulatory message sent by Kim Jong Un.
