Among the units that won the title during the on-going 80-day campaign are 9 units honored with the title of thrice model technical innovation unit, including the maintenance shop of the Jenam Coal Mine and the Mundok Fishery Station.

35 units, including the coal-conveying shop of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex and the Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory, have won the title of twice model unit.

According to data available at the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, over 230 units have won the title of model technical innovation unit this year.

Those model units have registered successes in production and management as a result of actively introducing many valuable technical innovations and inventions by regarding science and technology as the lifeline to their development.
