The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex has over-fulfilled its goals in production of pig iron, steel and rolled steel.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex carried out its pig iron production plan ahead of schedule by organizing an emulation campaign among its workers to reduce the smelting time of the UHP electric arc furnace and increase the output of molten iron.

It has also successfully achieved the goals for steel and rolled steel production.

The Posan Iron Works has increased the production of Juche iron by keeping its revolving furnaces in full-capacity operation.

The Chollima Steel Complex has fulfilled its goals for the campaign by raising the operation rate of furnaces and rolling machines.

Similar successes have been achieved in other industrial establishments including the Musan Mining Complex, the Unryul Mine and the Hungnam Electrode Factory.
