The performance began with the playing of prologue "Snow Is Falling on New Year's Day".

The performers sang high praises of the greatness of the Party Central Committee which firmly defended the well-being and happiness of the people and the socialist system despite manifold hardships in such numbers as female chorus "Glory to General Kim Jong Un" and "Pyongyang Is Best".

The performance deeply moved the audience with pieces such as male solo "We Call You Father" and mixed duet "We Think of the Marshal Day and Night" reflecting the mentality and feelings of all the people upholding Kim Jong Un as the sun of their destiny and life and happiness.

Light music and modern dance "Dash toward Future" and a national dance revved up the atmosphere celebrating the New Year.

The performance climaxed with the song and dance "Cheers of the People" and the finale "Snow Is Falling on New Year's Day".
