Sci-Tech Complex
Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- The Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, is situated at the picturesque Ssuk Islet in the Taedong River.

This atom-shaped complex started its service in January Juche 105 (2016).

It is a grand seat of learning for all the people and a comprehensive database for sci-tech achievements made by mankind. It is also a multi-purpose sci-tech service center which makes it possible to use all data and share and exchange information through a network any time.

The complex was wonderfully built under the far-reaching plan of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

One day in June 2014, the Supreme Leader visited the Ssuk Islet and spread a grand blueprint for building a modern scientific and technological study center on the islet to satisfy the people's needs, saying that the demand for sci-tech learning is growing day by day.

Thanks to the guidance of the Supreme Leader who regarded the work of developing Ssuk Islet as an important affair related to the future of the country, the islet could be turned into that of science.

The Sci-Tech Complex serves as a springboard for promoting the country's sci-tech development and making all the people well versed in science and technology.
