Nguyen Phu Trong in the message extended warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un upon his election as general secretary of the WPK on behalf of the Central Committee of CPV and on his own behalf.

The message sincerely hoped that the WPK would make great progress in accomplishing the cause of building a prosperous country and providing the people with happiness under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Expressing belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries would grow strong with each passing day, the message wished Kim Jong Un good health and good success in his important and responsible work.
