The Chairman named the factory "Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory" and visited it in January 2011 despite the severe cold weather.

That day, he praised the scientists and officials and workers of the factory for finding out the resources of spring water good in quality and rich in quantity in the place called Wolro-ri as it has produced many macrobians from long ago and successfully building the modern spring water factory to provide citizens with processed spring water.

Saying that the factory has an important duty and role to perform in solving the issue of drinking water for citizens of the capital and protecting and promoting their health, he gave instructions that its officials and employees should systemically boost the production in the spirit of devoted service to the people to supply much more quality spring water.

Later, the factory was wonderfully updated thanks to the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The Supreme Leader visited the factory in September 2016 and stressed that its officials and employees should convey the Chairman's love for people with high production achievements, not forgetting the devoted efforts of the Chairman who left his undying traces at the factory to supply the citizens with tasty and quality spring water.
