Present there were members and alternate members of the SWUK Central Committee.

Put on the agenda were the fundamental issues facing the women's union, an outer organization of the Party, to thoroughly implement the important tasks set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in his report on the work of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) at the Eighth Congress of the WPK.

The plenary meeting firstly suggested a draft resolution for thoroughly implementing the decisions made at the Eighth Congress of the WPK, and deeply studied and deeply discussed it.

On the basis of their deep understanding of the struggle tasks and ways set forth at the Party Congress, all the participants studied the draft resolution with the main stress put on taking substantial measures for strengthening the organizations of the women's union at all levels into the powerful force for the socialist construction.

A relevant resolution was adopted on the basis of the in-depth study and discussion and the detailed and correct methodology worked out in a realistic way for making a fundamental turn in the work.

The plenary meeting discussed and decided on convening of the Seventh Congress of the SWUK.
