The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Jong Nyo on her 100th birthday.

She said tears come into her eyes when she thinks of her parents and brothers and sisters who died in their early years, being treated as a hangdog without being properly fed and dressed in the dark period of the Japanese imperialists' rule over Korea. She added it became possible for her to lead a happy life in a large family with her grandsons and granddaughters in good health in the era of the Workers' Party.

She extended her gratitude to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un for seeing to it that the birthday spread was sent to her, an ordinary old woman enjoying preferential treatment as a centenarian without any worries under the care of the Party and the state.

She requested her children to work hard for the country, saying the socialist system of our country is the best in the world.
