In the meeting, the participants discussed in depth the detailed issues of working out farming operation in a foresighted way and unconditionally attaining the goal of the grain production for this year, cherishing deep in mind the idea and intention of Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK, on laying the foundation for stable and sustained development for increased grain output.

The meeting made a discussion on important methodological issues of improving the people's diet by taking scientific and technical measures for ensuring safe agricultural production despite any disastrous climatic conditions, by increasing the areas under crop cultivation and by directing efforts into the fields of stock-breeding, vegetable growing, fruit farming and industrial crop cultivation.
