The completion of the farm has laid a material and technical foundation for putting all problems arising in meat production on an optimal and modern basis and for introducing the successes into the whole country.

The farm, of which all production lines are labour-, energy- and land-saving, is equipped with home-made facilities to be a model pig farm.

Choe Sang Gon, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Sung Jin, president of the State Academy of Sciences, Ri Chol Yong, chief secretary of Party committee of the State Academy of Sciences, and officials concerned looked around the newly-built pig farm on Monday.
