Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Congratulatory Message from Syrian President

| Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on February 11. The message sent the sincere and warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un and through him, to the friendly people of his country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il. The message also wished the DPRK greater progress, prosperity and development all the time as desired by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the great leaders. It affirmed aspiration and will to develop in depth in all fields the historic relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries in the interest of their friendly peoples. It extended warm greeting to Kim Jong Un, wishing him good health and happiness always. |
