The General Association of Koreans in China and the family of a vice-chairperson of the Jilin Province Regional Association of the general association laid floral baskets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin.

Officials of the general association laid a floral basket and made a bow before an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at the DPRK Consulate General in Shenyang.

The Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China and the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China placed a floral basket and made a bow before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the DPRK mission in Dandong.

A congratulatory letter of the general association to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted with due ceremony in Shenyang, China.

Present there were officials of the general association and members of the Shenyang City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants heard the audio clip "By waging a hot campaign for embodying Kim Jong Il's patriotism" and watched the video clip "Report on the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea".

The participants vowed to turn out as one in the pro-reunification patriotic movement for achieving the prosperity of the country and ushering in a new era of independent reunification, keeping pace with the dynamic advance of the people in the homeland who are breaking through head-on all difficulties with the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance in their all-out campaign for bringing about a new victory in the socialist construction.

Meanwhile, members of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China and the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China celebrated the Day of the Shining Star, singing the song "February Is Spring".
