The centenarians, born as daughters of day laborers, suffered from the grief of statelessness, being subject to all kinds of maltreatment and contempt, when the Korean nation was deprived of its sovereignty.

They worked sincerely for decades in the agricultural field with a single mind to live up to the benevolence of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who liberated the country and provided them with a worthwhile life and dignity, with increased grain production.

They voluntarily did jobs conducive to the prosperity of the country even after retirement.

They are still doing housework in good health under the care of medical workers, thanks to the socialist public health system.
