Halt to Japanese Authorities' Discrimination against Korean Schools Demanded
Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- A rally took place in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture of Japan on Feb. 22 to demand the resumption of payment of subsidies to Saitama Korean Junior Middle School under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and the settlement of the issue of support to Korean kindergarten.

Present at the rally sponsored by the "network Saitama for the mechanical support to foreign and national schools" were Koreans and Japanese citizens in Saitama Prefecture.

A lecture was given and speeches were made at the rally.

The lecturer and speakers condemned the Japanese authorities for their evermore vicious discrimination against Korean schools, referring to the fact that after the suspension of subsidies to Saitama Korean Junior Middle School, the Korean kindergarten was excluded again from the supply of masks against the infection by the novel coronavirus.

They claimed that the deep-rooted discriminatory feelings against Koreans are the source of discrimination against Korean schools.

They stressed that they would wage a dynamic agitation campaign to disclose the injustice of the Japanese government's discriminatory moves against Korean schools.
