President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who always paid deep attention to improving our people's diet, gave important instructions several times ranging from the building of the factory to the production of canned products and brightly indicated the tasks and ways arising in operating the factory.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Sinpho Distant-Sea Fishery Complex in May Juche 104 (2015), took a measure for building the Sinpho Canned Fish Factory in a modern way as required by the new century and made sure that necessary measures arising in construction and equipment modernization were taken.

The computer integrated manufacturing system on production and management control has been established and the base for producing canned products whose hygiene and security are ensured has been built. Therefore, it has become possible for the factory to make contribution to the improving of the people's standard of living.

Song Chun Sop, minister of Fisheries, and officials concerned looked round the remodeled factory on February 28.
