The advancement and progress of those units mean a great boost to the development of our style socialism, the editorial says, and continues:

Those units should play the role of an engine powerfully hauling the ongoing all-out advance for implementing the decisions made at the 8th Congress of the Party with determination.

They have to modernize themselves to preserve their specific features and glorify the guidance feats of the great leaders and the Party with high production achievements out of pure loyalty.

They should strictly keep the principle of prioritizing the interests of the collective and the state and subordinating everything to it. All their members are required to teach, lead and help each other forward so as to become pioneers in performing miracles and exploits.

The units should be national models in putting into practice the Party's idea of prioritizing the science and technology and talents.

By giving priority to the development of science and technology, they have to become a model prospering and leaping progress on the strength of science and technology. All the officials and employees of the units should fully prepare themselves as knowledge-based working people, inventors and men of great ingenuity well versed in modern science and technology and capable of applying them into practice.

Officials of those units are obliged to perform the leading role with unusual responsibility before the Party and indomitable spirit.
