Now sowing of wheat and barely seeds in spring is going in real earnest under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The ministry and the provincial rural economy committees have meticulously directed the campaign for finishing the sowing in time by increasing the fertility of soil and introducing various methods of seed processing.

Agricultural workers in Pyongyang City rounded off the sowing. They overfulfilled their daily sowing plans by securing high-yielding seeds with a high growth rate and introducing good sci-tech methods into seed processing.

Farms in some counties of South Phyongan Province completed the sowing in a brief span of time by carpeting fields with large quantities of quality manure and raising the operating rate of machines.
