Ri Yong Suk has dedicated herself to the liberation of the country and the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche since she embarked upon the road of the revolution under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung.

Under the loving care of the President she grew into a woman revolutionary, politically and militarily prepared, during the anti-Japanese war. She displayed matchless bravery in the final offensive operation for liberating the country and devoted herself to the struggle for the building of a new country and the socialist construction, true to the idea and leadership of the Party.

President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that she, who remained loyal to the Party, worked as a Party and administrative official. Thanks to the great leaders, she was honored with Order of Kim Il Sung, the title of labor hero and other Party and state commendations.

Kim Jong Un made sure that she was awarded Order of Kim Jong Il and she took part in various meetings including the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as a delegate.

Greatly excited to receive the birthday spread, the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter and her family members vowed to cherish the great benevolence shown by Kim Jong Un and dedicate themselves to implementing the decisions of the 8th Congress of the Party, single-mindedly upholding its leadership.
