Ri Sin Ung, who has contributed to education of the rising generation and sci-tech development at the university for 50 odd years, pleased President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il several times by successfully carrying out many priority research tasks.

He pioneered several subjects and authored many textbooks and reference books. He has trained scientists and educators including 10 odd doctors.

The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) honored him with Kim Il Sung Prize, the title of People's Scientist, academicianship, professorship and doctorate. It also made sure that he took part in the celebrations for its 75th founding anniversary as a delegate.

Choe Song Won has worked as an announcer for nearly 60 years at the Radio and TV Broadcasting Committee of the DPRK. She has led a worthwhile and glorious life, giving full play to her gifted narrative skill, under the deep political trust and benevolence of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Under the warm care of Kim Jong Il, she became a winner of Kim Il Sung Prize, the title of labor hero and the title of People's Announcer, and a deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly.

Kim Jong Un saw to it that she was awarded Order of Kim Jong Il and she took part in the 7th Congress of the WPK as a delegate and the 8th Congress of the WPK as a special guest.
