The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the Pyongyang City Home for the Aged (then name) under construction in March, Juche 104 (2015). At that time he called for building it as a model of other care homes for the aged to be built in each province, giving important instructions on the construction.

True to the instructions given by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the service personnel of the People's Army and working people involved in construction have built many fine homes for the aged across the country. They observed the principle of convenience and architectural beauty first during construction.

With the homes for the aged newly built, thanks to the WPK's policy of taking care of the aged, the old persons have been provided with good living conditions.
