The Ministry of Railways, on the basis of a scientific calculation of the current transport capacity, has taken timely measures for ensuring timely passage of loaded wagons while drawing up appropriate train timetables.

The Pyongyang Railway Bureau conducts a campaign for increased transport, putting the operation of all locomotives on a normal footing and minimizing the train stoppage time.

By reinforcing its locomotive repair base, the Hamhung Railway Bureau ensured the number of needed working locomotives. Thus, it has become possible for it to transport more building materials to the construction site much faster.

Other railway bureaus are ensuring the on-schedule operation of the capital city-bound trains.
