The Secretariat of the Central Committee of the WPK decided to convene the sixth conference of cell secretaries to discuss and guide the affairs in prioritizing the position and role of the Party cells in thoroughly ensuring the General Secretary's unified leadership throughout the Party, consolidating the WPK organizationally and ideologically, as required by a new high stage of the developing revolution, and bringing about a radical improvement in the current work of the Party cells.

The conference will analyze and review the successes and experience the Party cells have so far gained in their work since the end of the Fifth Conference of Chairpersons of Cells of the WPK, true to the policy of strengthening the Party cells set forth in the fifth conference. It will also discuss the detailed tasks and ways for the Party cells to successfully fulfill their mission and duty in the struggle for implementing the decisions of the 8th Party Congress by decisively improving their work.

The Sixth Conference of Cell Secretaries of the WPK to be held amid the deep attention of all the Party members will mark an important historic occasion in strengthening the fighting efficiency of the WPK in every way and propelling the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of socialism under the guidance of the General Secretary.
