In his speech, Kim Jong Un said that building 50,000 modern flats in Pyongyang, the capital city of our great country, is something our Party has long intended, made preparations for and aspired to do in order to provide the citizens of the capital city with more cultured and stable living conditions. At that time, all the people were gripped by the great happiness and honor of living under the care of the mother party, looking up to the image of the respected General Secretary.

The General Secretary spares nothing to satisfy the desire of the people and to heal their misfortune and pain. Thanks to his boundless devotion for the people, miraculous things came into being one after another on this land.

As there is the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) which defends and takes care of people's destiny when they are in trouble and feel difficult, new villages and new houses were built like mushroom after rain in the natural calamity-stricken areas last year amid the manifold trials and difficulties.

In those days, the people of the DPRK keenly felt that the care of the WPK is the genuine mother's bosom they should believe and follow forever, entrusting their destiny and future to it.

True to the noble intention of the Party which set it as the most important task for this year to build 10,000 flats for solving the housing problem of the citizens of the capital city, all the constructors are now making innovations every day with a zeal to build an ideal street of the people at an early date.
