Chairman Kim Jong Il's Immortal Work on Juche Idea

Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- The immortal Juche idea is a great revolutionary theory as it newly clarifies the position and role of human being in the world and the essence, character and driving force of the socio-historical movement centered on the popular masses. Chairman Kim Jong Il's celebrated work "On the Juche Idea" published on March 31, Juche 71 (1982), is an encyclopedic library as it comprehensively dealt with the Juche idea and systematized its theory and principles. In his work, the Chairman referred to the ideo-theoretical feats of President Kim Il Sung who founded and developed the Juche idea, and systematized the unique principles and contents of the Juche idea in a scientific and theoretic way. The work has served as an ideological and moral treasure that instills the conscious of being the makers of history in the minds of broad strata of people around the world with different political views, religions, languages and customs and inspires them with a firm belief in the victory of the cause of independence. The political and public circles of the world praised his work as a new communist manifesto, a historic document showing the true way for carving out a man's destiny and a precious textbook and a theoretical and practical weapon for studying and embodying the Juche idea. Since the publication of the work, organized activities for the study and dissemination of the Juche idea have been conducted more briskly on a worldwide scale. Many personages in political, academic and public circles of the world, who have deeply studied the Juche idea, are union in saying that the Juche idea is an idea shining with the august names of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il both in name and reality and it is the great revolutionary idea that reached the acme in the history of human thoughts.
