It contains 84 works including treatises, talks and speeches released by the Chairman from January to September Juche 71 (1982).

The works comprehensively deal with the philosophical principle, the socio-historical principle, the guiding principles and the historic significance of the Juche idea, the firm guiding idea of the Korean revolution, recalling its foundation.

They clarify the tasks and ways to preserve the unity and cohesion of the Party based on the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung and further enhance the fighting efficiency of the Party by establishing strict revolutionary discipline within it.

They also deal with the principled matters arising in firmly arming the men and officers of the People's Army with the revolutionary outlook on the leader, establishing a strict system of order and command in all units and developing the People's Army into an invincible revolutionary army.

They advance the tasks to further strengthen the might of the Republic by properly conducting the socialist construction, push ahead with the housing construction in Pyongyang City and bring about a new upsurge in the agricultural production.

They also give perfect solutions to the theoretical and practical problems arising in the revolution and construction, including the issues of giving full play to the traditional traits of revolutionary comradeship, training the children of the revolutionary martyrs to be examples of work and life and widening the university education.
